Sabse TEZ --- Media when will the morons use brains

Does whatever happens need to be reported immediately?

The Television channels Headlines Today, Aaj Tak and Sahara Samay (please add more)

Since when did news become Bollywood movies. While the bombs are blowing all over the city and the channels showing it… but with background music and et. all. If I want to hear background music or need my emotions super charged I will watch a movie or eat Viagra like chole bhature. Why the fuck do I need it if I just want to see the news.

Shiv Aroor from Headlines Today is called a 'Defense Correspondent"… what the fuck does it actually mean? Seriously what does it mean? Has he been on some war fronts to report for his channel or is he an analyst of some kind. Because by his looks he seems to be someone who's just stepped out of the ghetto land, picked up the mic, learnt the spellings of Defense Correspondent and screams in his mic "Israel is stupid to say our commandoes didn't plan well, " and continues his defense of the Indian security forces - which is good, at the expense of bashing up Israel's statement - not good. This perhaps is the age of school dropouts becoming 'Defense Correspondents' which by the way I still have no idea what it means.

Zaka Jacob (Headlines today), Idiots (Aaj Tak), More Idiots (Sahara Samay, CNN IBN)

The army, cops and NSG had repeatedly asked the television channels to not reveal ANY sensitive information, because the terrorists inside may be watching TV or may be talking via their satellite phones to those who would be watching TV, thereby passing to the terrorists the latest information and clues about the battle, hostages, hotel situations etc. As it did, the terrorists did get a lot of information from the television channels.

Mr. Jacob makes a statement, which goes something like "The guests are being asked to remain in their rooms and not open the doors for their safety. They should not let terrorists know in any way where they are"

In less than sixty seconds the camera zooms to the 19th floor where a women in her room stands anxious and Mr. Jacob announces of TV "Look there is woman on the 19th floor". A few hours later the terrorists are on the 19th floor. No one talked about what happened to the woman.

Aaj Tak and Sahara Samay have the cameras capturing the NSG commandoes dropping down on the roof of Nariman House. But this is not enough. They announce "The copter came 3 times and dropped 5, then 4 then 5 commandoes"… Sahara even captures on TV the commandoes dropping ropes and announces "they are going to probably come down via the ropes and attack the terrorists"

As if they were concerned, that the terrorist watching TV or those watching TV passing information to the terrorist may not understand as to who were the men dressed in black dropping from helicopters on the roof of the house - they actually CIRCLED IN RED each of the men in the black. THEN THEY DREW A RED ARROW. Then they Printed "Commando" above the arrow.

Just to clear any confusion you, me or the terrorists may have over who the fuck the men in black were and what the fuck were they doing on the roof of Nariman House. Now after drawing the circle, arrow and label over the men in black we know, they are commandoes. It helped clear our confusion… cause I was thinking they were the morning free loaders of Mumbai who took their lotta early morning and looked for the cleanest corner in the city's streets to shit in.

I've been told that even the respected channel CNN-IBN wasn't behind in its buffoonery. Apparently the news reporter of that channel went

"We've been told by the NSG commandoes not to reveal the number of commandoes and such vital information because they suspect the terrorists may be watching TV… but still let me tell you there are 35 commandoes that are inside…"

As mentioned earlier, we truly live, in land of idiots.

(d) A. Banerjee and the forced to speak in English reporters of Headlines Today

First. Mr. Banerjee. No problems with his English. A big problem with the following statement he makes the first morning post the beginning of the battle - when he sees the streets of Mumbai are empty unlike the past when the "spirit of Mumbai" was in full glory next day of the blasts… Mr. Banerjee goes "I'm ashamed to see… no people… where is the spirit…"

That is one of the most shameful statements anyone could have ever made in dissing Mumbai. But three days later. No apologies no nothing. It's as if it never happened.

And the reporters on the field being asked to speak in English and all you could hear "AAAAAA UUUUUU HMMMMMMM afkasljfourp ouqwruutrfgj jgslbjsbvn, vbnmrtu p5778825098ajgflk asdjl;ajfgajfoajvl;aj vljfklj " - if you can decipher that, you are God

“Being Twenty-Something”. They call it the “Quarter-life Crisis.”

Of late with lot of spare office time and slow internet connection available I have been scouting blogs and articles. Here is something interesting that I stumbled upon :

Maybe we all r going through this “Being Twenty-Something”. They call it the “Quarter-life Crisis.” (Ed: India Today has an article-subscription- on this in the stands now) It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are any things about yourself that you didn’t know and may not like. You start feeling Insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now.

You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren’t exactly the greatest people you have ever met, and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones. What you don’t recognize is that they are realizing that too, and aren’t really cold, catty, mean or insincere, but that they are as confused as you.

You look at your job… and it is not even close to what you thought you would be doing, or maybe you are looking for a job and realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and that scares you.

Your Opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and find yourself judging more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and are constantly adding things to your list of what is acceptable and what isn’t.

One minute, you are insecure and then the next, secure. You laugh and Cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone and scared and Confused. Suddenly, change is the enemy and you try and cling on to The Past with dear life, but soon realize that the past is drifting further and further away, and there is nothing to do but stay where you are or move forward. You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you. Or you lie in bed and wonder why you can’t meet anyone decent enough that you want to get to know better. Or maybe you love someone but love someone else too and cannot figure out why you are doing this because you know that you aren’t a bad person. One night stands and random hook ups start to look cheap. Getting wasted and acting like an idiot starts to look pathetic.

You go through the same emotions and questions over and over, and talk with your friends about the same topics because you cannot seem to
Make a decision. You worry about loans, money, the future and making a life for yourself… and while winning the race would be great, right now you’d just like to be a contender!

What you may not realize is that everyone reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out. Send this to your twenty something friends…. maybe it will help someone feel like they aren’t alone in their state of confusion….. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US
CHEERS!

Logic & Reason what is it worth ...

've always believed in numbers. In the equations and logics that lead to reason. But after a life time of such pursuits, I ask, what truly is logic? Who decides reason? My quest has taken me, through the physical, the metaphysical, the delusional... and back. And I have made the most important discovery of my career... the most important discovery of my life. It is only in the mysterious equations of love, that any logical reasons can be found. I'm only here tonight because of you. You are the reason I am. You are all my reasons...

I love to be an Underdog -- My inspiration

I have always been inspired by the stories of underdogs cause its really exciting when the under dog wins. Rock Balboa is a classic example of an underdog and the Rocky series is very close to my heart. The following dialog from Rocky has always been my source of inspiration ...

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me or nobody is going to hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much can you take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that! I'm always gonna love you, no matter what. No matter what happens. You're my son, you're my blood. You're the best thing in my life. But until you start believing in yourself, you ain't gonna have a life.``
